The Collaborative Clinic for Nonprofit Viability, an initiative of the Yale Center for Environmental Justice, is hosting a webinar featuring a compelling conversation between Professor Gerald Torres and Stefan Cassella, a former federal prosecutor who specialized in civil asset forfeiture. Join us on November 7th from 12-1 pm EST to learn about how civil asset forfeiture typically functions, the kinds of organizations that are usually targeted, and risks for government overreach. This webinar will also touch on current events highlighting the intersection between environmental organizations and civil asset forfeiture. This session is designed for audiences interested in organizations and transactions, law and society, and environmental justice.
