Aimee Gauthier
Aimée Gauthier is the Chief Knowledge Officer at the Institute for Transportation and Development Policy, where she has been working since 2002. She leads the Global Program, which focuses on global research, impact evaluation, capacity building, and campaigns on sustainable and equitable transport and urban development. Previously, she worked on transport projects in Ghana, Kenya, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, and Uganda, including bus rapid transit, cycling and walking projects, and examining the intersection between health care service delivery and transport. Aimée holds a master’s degree in urban planning from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor and has dual bachelor’s degrees in anthropology and political & social thought from the University of Virginia.
