Energy Justice, Justice40 and the Inflation Reduction Act

Low-income and BIPOC communities around the country face disproportionately high energy bills, amounting in some areas to more than 28% of household income. At the same time the Federal government is investing over $2 trillion in new infrastructure over the next 3 to 5 years, and YCEJ is developing evaluation tools and new models to get that investment to flow directly into low-income and BIPOC communities.

YCEJ offers a course in Energy Justice that  concurrently streams for practitioners around the country and is working with philanthropic partners to train thousands of organizations in the new Certificate for Clean and Equitable Energy Development.
