Anchored by a growing team of renowned scholars and activists, the Yale Center for Environmental Justice addresses multiple existential threats whose roots lie in environmental and social injustice. We work with over 30 faculty and centers across Yale as well as in communities around the world to remedy the key drivers of injustice while co-creating generative solutions for a more just and sustainable world.
The Center is ramping up significantly this year to lead a global conference on Environmental Joy, offer an online certificate program to move significant resources for clean energy projects into EJ communities, expand EJ research and education across Yale, and continue to offer courses in Tribal Resources and Sovereignty and Energy Justice. We are looking for passionate, talented students to join our team!
As a Fellow with YCEJ, you will gain experience doing cutting edge research and program development in environmental justice and get the chance to work with leaders in diverse domestic and international contexts. Fellows will be directly mentored in weekly meetings by YCEJ’s Executive Director, faculty and staff, with the goal not just of generating amazing results for our partner communities but also of moving Fellows into the forefront of environmental and climate justice practice. Look at our Student Opportunities page for openings!
