Lisa Molomot: The Hill (2012) Film Screening

The Hill (2012)– a look at the Hill neighborhood of New Haven.
The Hill which documents the efforts of neighbors in the Hill neighborhood to stop their homes from being demolished in a City eminent domain taking to build a school, and School’s Out: Lessons from a Forest Kindergarten will be shown. (The New Haven Urban Design League worked with neighbors in their effort to save their homes.)
School’s Out looks at a Swiss outdoor school, and also interviews teachers at New Haven’s Edgewood School to highlight the different ideas about teaching and childhood development.
