Rilyn is a second-year Ph.D. student researching materials and technologies for water treatment and water quality monitoring. Beyond the laboratory, she is interested in how research impacts communities and the environment. With the goal of promoting the equitable dissemination of research in New Haven, she began working on YCEJ’s project NH PERL (New Haven People and the Environmental Research Library) in January 2025.
