Weixi is a third-year MPH (Master of Public Health) and MESc (Master of Environmental Science) candidate in the joint degree program between Yale School of Public Health in the Department of Environmental Health Sciences and Yale School of Environment. She graduated with a BSc (Bachelor in Science) degree in Environmental Science from the University of Manchester in the UK in 2017. Prior to coming to Yale, she worked as Assistant Environmental Engineer in the Water & Infrastructure Institute in China Academy of Urban Planning and Design.
Weixi is interested in community health research and understanding the impacts of environmental pollution on human health, especially vulnerable populations. A specific area of interest is investigating how air pollution exposure differs across children from different households living in the Dwight neighborhood in New Haven, CT.
